This year the Board of Directors of Religion & Society has decided to expand the scope of our services to our readership. We will be hosting an afternoon seminar with four speakers. The participants are Barry MacDonald, editor and publisher; Michael Swisher, chairman of the board; and Paul Suszko and Don Lee, who are both board members and authors for The St. Croix Review. Our topic will be “Conserving America.”

Our constitutional form of government, our American liberties, and our American prosperity are under intense attack. Our opponents are openly advocating socialistic and Marxists policies on energy, education, the economy, healthcare, the environment, and immigration. They are seeking to defund police departments throughout America. There are riots and shootings in our major cities perpetrated by the leftist groups Antifa and Black Lives Matter.

We patriotic Americans have to come together for mutual support. We have to be very clear among ourselves: What are the precious institutions of America that need defending?

The location of the annual dinner is the Lowell Inn, in downtown Stillwater, Minnesota. Both the seminar and the dinner will be held in the Banquet Center, which is right next door and to the north of the Lowell Inn.

The seminar will begin after 2 p.m. and last until 4:30. We will be encouraging questions from the audience.

There will be enough time between the seminar and evening reception to allow for our guests to enjoy the lovely scenery of downtown Stillwater. We urge our readers to enjoy the fall colors!
